Patterns

I did the research for the floor tiles, wall coverings, fabric prints and Islamic Architecture and I've come to a lot of conclusions.

Wood floor tiles seem to be all about textures.


Ceramic floor tiles seem to be more about design and the look then texture. Even though all the tiles have their own texture. What doesn't?


Fabric prints can be about anything. They can show a texture, a culture, and even a design.


Islamic Architecture is all about patterns. And it's all gorgeous.


All these different things do have one thing in common though. They are all used for design. After seeing the Islamic Architecture I'm thinking about trying to mimic a pattern from there. I'm not sure though, I might just make my own also which wouldn't be so bad I HOPE!
