Futuristic Musuems???

Article number one was trying to push the idea that a "Newseum," will pretty much be the hottest thing since sliced bread. The Newseum will be online so that the viewer can just click and click and click away at things they want to see. But are they really experiencing it?? Won't that take away from the experience of seeing these sometimes amazing artifacts. Isn't that just a lazy way around doing something educational? Going online to me would take away from the artwork or whatever the object is. I'm seriously a hands on person and sure I could reference from the website which would be a completely different story, but to benefit myself and to learn more about the object I would definitely have to just get up and go see it. There's no way that museum's will die out as long as there are still people who are willing to learn and explore things they've heard but have never got to see. [Which is one of the reasons for a museums] Article number two talks about expanding museums. I'm probably going to contradict myself here a little bit so hang in there. I think that expanding a museum is a good idea in ways because there are still so many people that like to check out museums, besides little kids on field trips with their school. The crowds of people to me are what take away from the experience. I was at the Liberty Science Center and there were just so many people that I could barely see the exhibits and some I had to just skip considering it wasn't worth me shoving through a billion little kids and adults to get to it. So expanding would be good for space issues like that. This way there's more space for everyone. But also if you make a museum too big and worry about cafes and gift shops [which are over priced and over placed in many museums] that it takes away from the whole idea of it.
In some museums you end of walking by 3 cafe's and 6 gift shops that all carry the same thing. I'm sure they're making bank off of that but is it really necessary? Plus with the museum being so big besides the cafes and gift shops - there is so much stuff how can you possibly remember all of it? Or take it all in, in just one day.

I guess that's all I really can say for now without confusing anybody and myself haha
